These terms cover your use of Quiltshot, an independent app made and run in Australia. By using the app you agree to them.

Your photos

Only upload photos you took yourself or have permission to use. You keep all rights to your photos. You let us use each photo only to make your patterns, and we delete it within about two days (see Privacy). Don't upload anything illegal, hateful, or that shows people without their permission.

Your patterns

Patterns made from your photos are yours to use. You may sew them, give the quilts away, and sell quilts and other items you make from them. Please don't sell or publish the pattern PDFs themselves as a pattern product without asking us first.

Accounts and download credits

• Making patterns is free. Downloading a pattern needs an account and uses one download credit, once per pattern version. Downloading it again is free.
• New accounts get free download credits. Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and we may change how many free credits new accounts get.
• Keep your sign-in private. You're responsible for what happens with your account.
• You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@quiltshot.com.

Check before you cut

Patterns are made automatically from your photo. Print templates at 100% ("actual size") and measure the 1″ test square before cutting fabric. We work hard to make patterns accurate and sewable, but we can't guarantee every pattern is free of mistakes, and we aren't responsible for fabric, materials or time lost because of one.

Fair use of the service

Don't try to break, overload or get around the app's limits, or to download patterns without using credits. We may limit or close accounts that do.

The service

We provide the app as it is and may change or stop features. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any problem with the app is limited to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid for it.
